Above
all else, I am a wife and mother to the best family a person could possibly
dream of.
My
son was born in July 2012, and, like many women, returned to work after just
six short weeks of maternity leave. After coming back, I realized that while I
am blessed with an amazing job and flexibility to keep my son out of daycare, I
was no longer receiving the same kind of personal gratification from my work as
before. I yearned for something more personally meaningful in my life,
something close to my heart.
I
became interested in reading blogs when I was pregnant. There is so
much camaraderie with bloggers out there; so many stories to share,
friendships to make, and love to give. The main purpose of this blog is not to
give advice -- I am by no means a perfect mother. I hold no degrees in the
business of parenting. I am a firm believer in the idea that something
different works for each family. I will, however, share some of my more
memorable experiences in motherhood, wife-ing, projects, and life in general.
Thanks for visiting, can't wait to meet you!
